International
Festival Scholarships |
The
EXCHANGE CULTURAL COMMISSION of UNIMA in collaboration with
a number of International Puppet Festivals, now offers scholarships
for UNIMA members to attend International
Festivals.
These scholarships cover: housing, meals and free entry to the
performances. |
RULES:
Scholarships are offered to those members of UNIMA that for
different reasons are unable to attend International Festivals.
These scholarships are only for those interested in attending
as observers, not as performers.
Scholarships are granted on a first come, first serve basis.
There is no selection process.
Once the scholarship has being granted and accepted, the beneficiary
assumes a commitment to attending the Festival. Only in the
case of a very serious and justified reason, can the beneficiary
elect to decline the scholarship. In that case he/she should
inform, as soon as possible, the UNIMA Cultural Exchange commission
of the resignation of the scholarship, so that it may be offered
to others.
A report is required to be sent to the Europe Commission after
attending the Festival so that improvements may be made to this
project.

APPLICATION:
The request must content the following information:
• NAME (FIRST & LAST)
• BIRTH DATE
• ADDRESS: STREET, CITY, PROVINCE (STATE), COUNTRY
• TELEPHONE / FAX
• EMAIL
• A certificate from your NATIONAL CENTRE is required to
verify you as a member of UNIMA.
(This requirement is indispensable to begin the processing
of the scholarship)
and a photocopy of carnet UNIMA INTERNATIONAL (If possible)
• YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PUPPET THEATRE
(Professional, amateur, educator, director, observer, researcher,
etc.)
• NAME OF THE INSTITUTION, GROUP OR THEATRE IN WHICH YOU
WORK
• INDICATE BY ORDER OF PRIORITY, UP TO FIVE FESTIVALS,
THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND.
All the requests that fulfill these requirements will be accepted.
If the quota is covered, we will open a waiting list and you
will be informed about your turn.
