The UNIMA International Commission for Professional Training awarded two scholarships for 2012 to:
- Vanda Tollas, from Tirgu-Mures, Romania to attend the workshop "Material in Movement" directed by Frank Soehnle in collaboration with Karin Ould Chih in Charleville-Mézières
- Ana Celeste Romero Gunset from Tucuman, Argentina to attend the directing course given by Irina Niculescu in the program of DESS for contemporary puppetry, University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada
