The Traditional Theatre Training (TTT) Program is now accepting applicants for the 2026 session!
The TTT program facilitates access to short-term intensive training in the traditional Japanese performing arts. This year we are offering Kyogen (classical comedy) and Nihon Buyō (classical Japanese dance), as well as the option to add-on an additional course in Kotsuzumi (shoulder drum). The program packs a year's worth of training with master artists into a one-month period, culminating in a recital performed on a historic noh stage. Individuals of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. No Japanese language skills are necessary. Some tuition scholarships are available.
