Amanda Card creates shadow puppets, crankies, toy theater, and experimental works that blend autobiography, archival research, and live-feed video. Her work explores memory, grief, invisibility, and the delicate line between presence and disappearance. Drawing from personal history, forgotten archives, and collective memory, Amanda builds intimate, poetic performances that invite audiences to linger with what is fleeting or overlooked. Think: diary entries re-imagined in paper silhouettes, musicians who vanish into their own songs, and tiny theaters where the personal becomes myth.
