Canada-USA Puppeteers Get Together!
/The UNIMA North America Commission, in collaboration with UNIMA Canada and UNIMA USA, invites puppeteers, artists, and enthusiasts to join a special online gathering celebrating contemporary puppetry across North America.
Canada–USA Puppeteers Get Together! will take place online on Tuesday, September 22 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time. This open session offers an opportunity to meet leading puppet theatre companies from Canada and the United States, exchange ideas, and learn more about their artistic work and creative processes.
The event will feature presentations and conversations with:
Wonderheads Theatre (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada)
La Pire Espèce (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)
Happy Accident (Portland, Oregon, USA)
Manual Cinema (Chicago, Illinois, USA)
The session will be hosted by Jim Morrow (Canada).
Organized by the UNIMA North America Commission, this virtual gathering aims to strengthen connections among puppetry artists and organizations across the region while creating a space for dialogue, inspiration, and international exchange.
